Barbara Bell 1892 - 1940s Pinafore Apron or Sundress

Get into this charming pinafore or sundress from the 1940s! Buttons down the back, add ruffles to the square neckline if you wish. The description gives us a bit of wartime (WWII) history as it reads:

"Get into a pinafore when you come home from the job -- and have supper to cook. Get into a pinafore when your neighbors are coming to play bridge -- but you want to be dressed in something you don't mind wearing into the kitchen while you prepare the lunch. Get into a pinafore -- if your crowd wants an attractive canteen costume which is inexpensive to make and easy to launder."
